ABOUT THE IMAGE Saint Jude, known as Thaddeus, was a brother of St. James the Less and a relative of Our Saviour. One of the 12 Apostles, he is known as The Saint of Lost (or Desperate) Causes in part due to often being confused with Judas Iscariot. In the western church, Saint Jude's feast day is observed on October 28th. This icon of Saint Jude Thaddeus was arranged and written by Julie Ann Cook, 2014.
