St. John Kronstadt Orthodox Christian Icon Jigsaw Puzzle
St. John of Kronstadt was a 19th century / early 20th century Russian Orthodox priest known for his charitable work and spiritual guidance. He was a prolific writer, with his spiritual diary, "My Life in Christ," becoming a classic of Orthodox spirituality. A prophetic figure, he also predicted the 1917 Russian Revolution and was known as a miracle-worker who performed numerous healings through his prayers. PLEASE NOTE: Most of the icons are very old. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
