The town of Bourges, situated in the heart of France boasts an absolutely magnificent mediaeval architecture. And the St. Etienne Cathedral is rightfully considered a gem of French Gothic architecture. Through my sketch I have attempted to give you a glimpse of its beauty - the vaulted roof, pinnacles and flying buttresses, the latter being the most characteristic feature of the gothic style.
