Ekaterina happened from imperial family, a vein in Alexandria on boundary III-IV of centuries in reign of Roman emperor Maksimin, of the furious persecutor of christianity. She differed not only rare beauty, but also a profound knowledge of creations of wise men of an antiquity, such, as Hipokrat, Platon and Plutarch. Emperor Maksimin offered her not only marriage, but also half-empires for renunciation of the God. Looking on courage with which Sacred Ekaterina transferred sufferings, hundreds people have believed in the Christ. In the West sacred Ekaterina is considered the patroness of learning youth.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
