St. Christopher magnet

Little is known of Bosch's life. He left no written words. We believe he was born around 1450 based on a self portrait drawn in 1516 which shows an old man around mid to late 60's. It is believed that he was taught and trained by his father or one of his uncles. His art is known for using fantastic imagery about moral and religious concepts. Saint Christopher appears to be in an evil landscape. He holds the Christ child on his back. According to legend, St Christopher had been searching for a powerful and worthy master and had been a servant to the devil himself before he converted to Christianity. He is protected against the elements in his travels by the passenger he bears.
