This brainy early Christian martyr is also patron saint of attorneys, schoolchildren, girls, secretaries, teachers, potters and spinners, and librarians. Despite being kicked off the calendar in 1969, she is back and loving it in the present update of the Roman Missal, on her traditional date of November 25.
