St. Andrew the Apostle and the Flag of Scotland Postcard

Among his many patronages, St. Andrew is the national patron of Scotland. Here, a pensive St. Andrew, clad in a white robe and blue mantle, leans on a large, wooden x-shaped cross or saltire which was the instrument of his martyrdom c. 70.
