This 23 image montage shows off the amazing capabilities of the SR-71 Blackbird. The SR-71 Blackbird is a long-range, high-altitude, Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft. During aerial reconnaissance missions, the SR-71 operated at high speeds and altitudes (85,000 feet) to allow it to outrace threats. If a surface-to-air missile launch was detected, the standard evasive action was simply to accelerate and outfly the missile. While I would certainly have preferred to have this quirky poster framed, for what I could afford, this poster option was great. It looks really good on my wall and I'm sure will draw some interesting comments. I'm very happy with the printing quality and colours.
