I Married a Squirrel from Outer Space: I've been working on creating humorous vintage horror movie posters for a while, but with squirrels as the unexpected villains or monsters. Why squirrels? I wanted a critter that would be the last thing anyone would expect to be a threat. After some pondering, I landed on squirrels - because let’s be honest, cute little kittens as villains would just be too obvious! When her husband came home, something else wore his face. Inspired by atomic-age invasion films, this retro sci-fi poster blends domestic paranoia with extraterrestrial terror. Dramatic typography and mid-century styling honour the drive-in era - with a mischievous squirrel twist. Perfect for lovers of alien invasion stories with a delightfully nutty twist. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
