When I was walking the beach at Ocean Shores, WA, I noticed almost every family had a dog that was enjoying the surf. This one was especially playful, and I liked how it was silhouetted against the surf, sand, and sun. As is typical in the Pacific Northwest, fog started to roll in and slightly muted and darkened the sky. I applied a synthetic watercolor filter effect to my photograph to enhance the mood of the moment.
