Spike - Vectrex Shirt

This shirt was made especially for members of the FB group "Vectrex Fans Unite". For those who don't know, Spike is a hedgehog, and the unofficial mascot for the short-lived Vectrex video game console. His original game, the self-titled "Spike", was the only platform game on the system, and is famous for its digitized speech. After the untimely demise of the console, homebrew developers adopted Spike, and as such he has appeared in a number of unofficial games. NOTE TO ZAZZLE STAFF: After the rights to the Vectrex product line (including games and characters) reverted to Smith Engineering in the 1980s, the company made plans to revive the Vectrex as a handheld, but the imminent arrival of Nintendo's Game Boy put an end to the matter. In the mid-1990s, head of Smith Engineering Jay Smith put the entire Vectrex product line into public domain.
