Space Combat Poster

A furious battle is joined as two factions battle for supremecy! The central vessel is a collosal crecent shaped command ship, surounded by destroyers, carriers and battleships from two warring factions. One of these factions has streamlined, elegant vessels, the other has more rugged, versatile ships. Fighter craft whizz by, engaged in furious dogfights! A cruiser explodeds in a ball of flame illuminating nearby vessels! The image is rendered very high resolution for exceptional print quality. Total of 20 hours work went into the image which was build from scratch. All the 3D models I created in the autocad program Rhino 2. The models were textured and rendered in Alias Wavefront's Maya 4. These renders were composited in Photoshop 6 where explosions and weapons fire were added. The models used to create this image will be available for sale on www.turbosquid.com in the near future.
