Soul Box Project Pin

Our idea is to make a mind-boggling, heart-wrenching VISUAL STATEMENT revealing the number of gun violence victims using something very simple: little paper origami boxes, each one representing one life, one soul gunned down. This is a SOUL BOX. The purpose of The Soul Box Project is to visually reveal the ever-growing number of gun-related deaths and injuries in the USA. That number is now so large it is incomprehensible -- over 218,000 from 2014-2017, not including 22,000 yearly gun-related suicides. Our vision is to make these numbers real with public displays of small origami Soul Boxes handmade by volunteers -- each box representing one victim. MAKE A BOX. IT COUNTS.
