SORROW AND LOVE Christian Easter Coffee Mug. This is a contemporary Easter coffee mug, designed with a golden crown, a crown of thorns and a red heart, all entwined together. Underneath is the text SORROW & LOVE in black, yellow and red typography, followed by CUSTOMIZABLE TEXT which reads FLOWED MINGLED DOWN. The design is inspired by the Easter hymn, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, and talks about the love of God (John 3:16), crucifixion of the Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary and His resurrection as King. Also inspired by Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. The design is repeated on the back, and in the middle, there is a Christian Bible verse - FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON based on John 3:16. The customisable text can be replaced with wording of your own, such as your name or church or group, or it can be deleted. Matching items are available. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee.
Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
