The 2 Solstices mark the turning points in the Witch's Wheel of the Year. They are the longest day (Summer Solstice, Litha) and the longest night (Winter Solstice, Yule). Theya re powerful, sacred days marked with ritual and magic throughout the world.
I created the moon using an 18th century astronomy textbook's painting of the full moon. I recoloured and altered the image to create my signature crescent moon image, which I use exclusively in my Etsy shop and on all of my packaging.
