Soldiers Conduct Airborne Operations Poster

Army paratroopers with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, the Italian Folgore Brigade and the British Army’s 16 Air Assault Brigade conduct large scale airborne operations during Exercise Sabre Junction 16 on the Manoeuvre Rights Area near Hohenfels, Germany. Over 1,000 paratroopers and multiple Container Delivery Systems bundles were deployed to provide initial logistical support for follow on missions. Sabre Junction 16 will evaluate and assess the readiness of the Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade to conduct land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating Allied and partner nations.
