Sistine Madonna (aka the Madonna di San Sisto) by Raphael Sanzio, Raffaello, c1513. A vintage Renaissance Era fine art religion portrait painting featuring the Virgin Madonna holding the baby Jesus Christ. The painting was commissioned in 1512 by Pope Julius II for the church of San Sisto, Piacenza.
