The default text colour on the front of the card is a grey tone. On the front of the card we've set the background as transparent to let the colour of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this by picking a colour in the editing tools if you'd like. On the inside of the card as well as the back, the background is also set as transparent, for you to keep or change to a specific base colour according to your style. In addition to the sample photo on the front of the card, on the left inside half of the card we've included another sample photo for you to replace with your own photo. But you might prefer to delete this sample photo and then leave that side of the card blank instead. We've picked a grey tone as the default colour for the text on the right inside half of the card. Above that text you'll notice a sprig of holiday greenery, which you can remove if you prefer. We've put some sample text inside the card for you to replace with your own message, but please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to delete our sample text and then keep that space totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on each card instead, you can of course do that. Or you might want to replace our text with your own message and your own closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. We've chosen matte as the default paper type, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge and complements this natural, understated design well. But you can of course change this to semi-gloss if you prefer a brighter look. Just please be sure to remember that there is sample text on the inside as well as the front of the card as well as a second photo inside the card along with the one on the front for you to replace and edit.
