Silver Fork of the American River Poster

I photographed this at the Silver Fork of the American River in the Sierra Nevada Mountains as it flows into Silver Lake near Kit Carson, CA. Photographed with a Canon EOS 60D with a Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 Lens with a ND filter. I photographed this early in the morning using a slow shutter speed to give the running water that hazed over look. This image is available as a wrapped canvas as well.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
