Shiny Tuba Slanted Perspective Brass Band Poster

Big shiny brass tuba in a Portuguese marching band from Montreal, Canada, visiting the local Portuguese community church in Hull (Gatineau) Quebec to take part in a procession. Well they had a great groove! I took this photo at an angle so the tuba is straight and the band creates a lively interesting background. There are colourful reflections in the flared bell of the instrument, showing abstracted images of people, trees, and the church itself. The tuba was first invented in Prussia (later Germany) so it's no surprise tuba music often appears in traditional polkas and of course, Octoberfest (Oktoberfest, in German), in Germany. Most tubas are brass, an alloy of tin and copper. This is a great artwork for tuba players and other musicians, fans of brass, marching bands, bass and tenor tubas.
