島津義弘: Shimazu Yoshihiro, traditionally believed to be the seventeenth head of the Shimazu clan, he was a skilled general during the Sengoku period who greatly contributed to the unification of Kyushu. His skill in battle earned him the nickname of "Devil Shimazu" (鬼島津) during Hideyoshi's attempt to invade Korea. 鬼島津: Devil Shimazu, the nickname of Yoshihiro. In the background is the kamon (family crest) of Shimazu, Juji (十字) or "cross", and the armour of Yoshihiro, above his name is the samurai signature of Yoshihiro.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
