This cut and sew yourself chef set features a reversible chef's apron, oven mitt, and matching chef's hat, all sized to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl Dolls in colour coordinating shabby chic harlequin, damask, and striped patterns topped with eyelet lace trim, faux ribbons and bows. (Just add your own ribbon ties at the neck and waist.) Pattern by Daydream Doll Boutique, used commercially with permission. Website address for free illustrated sewing instructions also included in the cut and sew pattern, which is sized to be purchased as 1 set on a fat quarter or 4 sets on a yard.

I helped my 8 year old granddaughter cut and sew this fire truck for her toddler brother. It was a very easy first sewing project for her. Our 6 year old granddaughter also made one with a little more assistance with cutting. Cute! Our 8 year old did this herself. An adult could finish a little more professional but this is the creation of an 8 year old!
