Sewing Room Poster with Antique Sewing Machine
The antique sewing machine on this poster is thanks to Ed at estatestore.org. There are pictures online of many wonderful items in the estate store. I was looking online to find a picture of a sewing machine that I could obtain permission to use and he was kind enough to let me use his photo. The needle point is mine and was done by my grandmother in the early 70s. The damask background is from publicdomainpicture.net. Re/the words on the sewing machine, I did a trademark search of "white sewing machines" which produced three dead trademarks and a search of "white rotary" which produced two dead trademarks.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
