The patchwork quilt is a symbol of togetherness, sewing, and reusing old things to make new things. Repurposing things was done in the old days, and is making a come back now. In this example, pieces of cloth are sewn together to make one big blanket. Often this is accomplished by townsfolk, in which a giant blanket is then formed. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter.
