Serial Endosymbiosis Theory mitochondria plastids Plaque

The endosymbiotic theory postulates that several key organelles of eukaryotes originated as symbioses between separate single-celled organisms. According to this theory, mitochondria and plastids (e.g. chloroplasts)--and possibly other organelles--represent formerly free-living bacteria that were taken inside another cell as an endosymbiont. Molecular and biochemical evidence suggest the mitochondrion developed from proteobacteria (in particular, Rickettsiales, the SAR11 clade, or close relatives) and the chloroplast from cyanobacteria.

This 50 year wedding anniversary photo plaque is a great design. My parents (who I bought it for) loved it and it takes pride of place in their lounge room, with other photos. A great memento for their milestone wedding anniversary. The printing was of good quality. My only disappointment was that I had trouble loading photos to zazzle. I also tried to edit photos and plaque, but internet kept dropping out. So unfortunately the photo plaque had editing issues, but that was my fault NOT the manufacturer. All up a good quality photo plaque
