Sequoia National Forest is located in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains of California. The U.S. National Forest is named for the majestic Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) trees which populate 38 distinct groves within the boundaries of the forest. Featured in this photo is The Sentinel (estimated 2,200 years old) in located in front of the visitors centre. Printed with 100+ year archival inks on seven different media and custom framing.
