The illustration is a detail from a vintage 1899 ink drawing of a Purkinje neuron by Santiago Ramon y Cajal ( 1852-1934), the 1906 Medicine Nobel Pize winner considered the father of neurology. The drawing is in the public domain in the United States, the European Union and all countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years or less. The name is written down, in a black rectangle with golden border. Recommended for a doctor or a medical student -especially for a neurologist or neurosurgeon.
