This design features art by the Czech painter Frantisek Kupka (1871–1957). It depicts the artist himself together with his wife. The artist is wearing a green-brown suit, matching the decor of the surrounding room, while his wife is wearing a cute pink dress. The artist has a large moustache and beard; he has a stern expression. His wife is smiling as she leans her head gently on his shoulder for reassurance. They appear to be a happy and confident couple. They are relaxed and in love with each other. The original painting was completed by Frantisek Kupka in 1908.

The coasters are gorgeous, a quality feel and heavy weight. They look like a precious archeological find. A rustic stone juxtaposed with a modern floral black and white print. I like the way the print goes slightly imperfect on the cut stone edges giving them a kind-of natural beauty.
They are a great product and I use them to protect the arms of my couch from hot cups of coffee. Printing is good happy with the quality.
