this scene reminded me of a photo i took on route 66 in texas a couple of years ago, featuring modern wind turbines dwarfing an old windmill at sunset. (see "texas sunset notecard" in either my "sunrises and sunsets" or "route 66" collections.) i really like the way the rock cairns here play against the ram island light, which sits at the entrance to portland harbour.
