Scavengers ART PRINT cyberpunk goth vulture fairy
This painting is a little different for me - a very limited palette with only hints of colour - a post-apocalyptic scene with a cyberpunk / steampunk sorta feel to it - featuring some beautiful vultures! The term scavengers in this case refers to the girl (an urban fairy with vulture wings) and her vulture friends - all digging through the remnants of a doomed civilisation. I got the idea for this one simply by stumbling across two sweet vultures by my house - they were being very sweet, nuzzling each other like lovebirds - it struck me that they might make for good friends in the right situation. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
