The bird today is considered critically endangered; in 1987 the last wild California Condor was captured to become part of one of the most expensive conservation projects ever. I play a game of matching a postcard to a stamp and sending off to a friend on the other coast. When a story appeared in the newspaper about a condor in San Diego dying and its likeness had been made into a stamp years ago, I searched all over for a condor postcard (I already had the stamp). Zazzle was the only place I found a condor postcard. I was in heaven. The postcard was better than expected. A real bargain. The color and clarity of the postcard were perfect.
