A beautiful evening with my family to take some amazing pictures of the sunset to the West and see the amazing and noisy Sandhill Cranes come in for the evening on the North Platte River South of Alda, Nebraska They graze in the corn fields all day until sunset, they are everywhere. They are headed to Northern Canada to lay their eggs for new chicks that's why they forage for corn on their way to Northern Canada to get food in their bellies, they won't eat for several months after they get up there.
