This is a view from the Mountain Bike Trail in the Lost Dutchman State Park, which is located in Apache Junction, Arizona. The Superstition Mountains are home to many myths and legends, the most famous being the one about the German prospector Jacob Waltz, was known as simply as "The Dutchman". It is told that he hid a fortune in gold in these mountains from a mining claim he supposedly had, and he took the location to the serious.
