    SABINE PASS LIGHTHOUSE MAGNET

    The Sabine Pass Lighthouse is located on the Louisiana side of the Sabine Pass/ Texas border, in Cameron Parish. The Lighthouse was originally lit in 1857, is 75 feet tall, is octagonal in shape, and has a very unique look with 8 buttresses at its base. Modern technology made the lighthouse obsolete, and the Coast Guard closed the lighthouse in 1952. Slowly Sabine Pass has deteriorated and all the outbuildings have been destroyed. Currently, the CAMERON PRESERVATION ALLIANCE is attempting the difficult job of restoring the Lighthouse to its former glory.     Was very happy with the magnet. Cropping was as expected, corners are rounded. Good material. Magnet sticks well to fridge, as expected. The quality of the printing was good. I have tried other companies in the past which turned out too pixilated, was happy with the quality. Only thing was that they printed a bit on the dark side. Colour not as bright as on my computer.
