S Shano Colour Mountain Length 17 Tie
S Shano Colour Mountain Lengthwise 17: Syd painted this bold colourful composition with a putty knife and a sable brush. Very little colour mixing occurred on the pallet. Syd instead mixed paints directly on the canvas, alternating between dark and light to attain a solid quality to both mountains and sky. Note the flesh tones mixed in around the soil, sunset and floral colours. c 1974.

I originally ordered 1 tie to test and ensure I liked it with the suits we had ordered! The tie came and it was perfect! We loved it! The colours were bright and the tie was beautifully made. I then ordered the 6 additional ties and the colours are slightly different. The 6 ties were a little less vibrant and the white background was slightly different!
