Rustic Raven On Inner Birch Bark Large Clock

Rustic Raven On Inner Birch Bark Large Clock

A digital recreation of a simple Raven (Corvus corax) image formed by carefully scraping off the reddish outer surface on the reverse side of birchbark to reveal the lighter, yellowish layer beneath. This is a traditional craft among Native Americans/First Nations across the northern United States and Canada. I do not claim to be a Native artist. Having lived in the North much of my life I appreciate the many uses of the Birch (Betula spp.) and find the technique simulated on this image to be very beautiful.

Our first wedding anniversary is coming up and we heard the modern 1st wedding anniversary gift is clocks. So we decided to get a personalised clock made up to commemorate the occasion. And we're very impressed with the product that we received :-). Looks the exact same way it did online

I’ve bought a few faux canvas products and I love them all! I bought the baseball clock for my husband who is in permanent aged care. It looks great in his room. The printing look just like the it did in the pic - GREAT!

I bought this clock as a gift for my husband for our 50th wedding anniversary. The first one went missing in transit so Zazzle ordered a replacement which arrived quickly. It's a lovely clock and I'm sure will look beautiful on the wall when we eventually hang it on ANZAC Day. The printing is lovely.
