Be sure to press firmly enough so the stamp can absorb the ink and depending on what material envelope you stamp, you can accommodate the amount of pressure you place when actually stamping. As some paper items do soak up ink more than others, this stamp allows you to press down harder if need be without messing up the design on your envelope.
