Rural America Red Barn Jigsaw Puzzle

This beautiful red barn is from an old farm in Georgia, in the Southern USA. Many barns in rural America are red because farmers used to add ferrous oxide (rust powder) to an old paint recipe of linseed oil, which gave barns a deep orange-red colour. The ferrous oxide accentuated the redness to a burnt red tone. Nowadays, to follow the tradition, even new barns are painted red, though with a brighter colour more akin to fire engine red. Customise to your liking.

Excellent product, I have been to Positano and my hotel features in the jigsaw so it was special for me. The quality is fantastic and is beautiful when finished. The one thing that could be improved would be a A4 or bigger actual picture of the jigsaw not just the tiny picture on the lid of the box, I have to use a magnifying glass. This is my third puzzle from zazzle and I am now going the send my own picture of Switzerland to be made into a puzzle. Very satisfied a little darker than appeared on the web site.
