_x000D_ A cherry blossom is the flower of any of several trees of genus Prunus , particularly the Japanese Cherry, Prunus serrulata , which is sometimes called sakura after the Japanese (桜 or 櫻; さくら). Many of the varieties that have been cultivated for ornamental use do not produce fruit. Edible cherries generally come from cultivars of the related species Prunus avium and Prunus cerasus .

Looking at this photo gives me such a peaceful, meditative feeling. We ordered it in a custom size to replace an old poster, and it slipped right into the frame without any further adjustments. Many thanks to the photographer who created it! Not crystal sharp but a little dreamy, which is the perfect effect for us!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
