The full title of this work is "Rounding a Bend" on the Mississippi – The Parting. This item presents a dynamic design. It's a wonderful feast for the eyes. It's full of variety of beautiful dark blue hues, contrasting with pretty, light colours. It's an exciting night on the water. Something special seems to be going on, as fireworks have been set off from one of the riverboats. This work, from 1866, was created by Frances Flora Bond Palmer. Although she was born in England, multiple sources list her as "American, British born" and her art as American art. Turned this into a lockdown activity with my partner for our anniversary. I got the 110 pieces since neither of us are big on puzzles. It's was just one of the nice little fun activities we did together. Probably took 30 minutes all up. We're gona frame it and keep it as a memory. The quality of the print was fine. Our teeth look like they stick out a bit just due to the the shape of the pieces around our teeth. But no problems.
