Robin Redbreast Christmas Card
In the 1800s, British postmen wore bright red uniforms. They wore red in honour of the crown since red is considered both a Royal colour and an important colour on the English flag. This may also be one of the reasons why British post boxes were eventually standardised to be red. The postmen in their red-breasted coats resembled the much-loved British bird, the robin red-breast, earning Victorian postmen the nick-name: Robins.

My grandson liked the card. Your cards are always great quality. I enjoyed being able to use a photo of him in the card, as these cards are keepsakes. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t get a gamer themed card. He is a very passionate gamer.
