This Scottish-themed coffee mug pays tribute to Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns, whose song "Auld Lang Syne" is sung the world over every New Year's Eve. The design on the mug features our interpretation of the famous Alexander Naismith portrait of Rabbie Burns, flanked by Scottish thistles and a border done in the Royal Stewart tartan. You can change the colour of the background to suit, or add your own text or favourite line of poetry from the work of Burns. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
