RMS Aquitania Cut Away Poster
The poster reproduces a c 1920 cutaway view of the great ocean liner RMS Aquitania. The cutaway was originally produced as a marketing device and souvenir for the ship which was launched in 1913 and after surviving two world wars as a troopship and logging millions of miles as a luxury passenger liner was finally scrapped in Scotland in 1950. She was the longest-lived of the great four stacker liners. Originals are quite rare and generally very expensive and this poster offers a very affordable and alternative.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
