Makes a perfect Christmas gift and can be used for notes or as a diary. One of the copies I purchased is going to the mother of that little "sun boy." I especially like the lined paper...makes for a neater page...one that's easier to read. The binding keeps the note book flat so you can write on your lap and not worry about bending the notebook. I have the original painting and the colors on the notebook are as true as the colors on my wall.
