DON QUIXOTE' s characters Sancho, Rucio, Rocinante, and Don Quixote as seen in Cartoon animation series (1979) The Cartoon animation series “DON QUIXOTE OF La Mancha” was first seen on TV back in 1979, since then, it has been aired by TV stations around the globe. Don Quixote was first published in 1605 and it's continuation in a second part was published in 1615. Our merchandising commemorates both the IVth Centenary, which started in year 2005 and will end in 2015, and the 30th. + Anniversary of the TV series.
