    • Base: 100% styrene-butadiene rubber
  • Quick-drying foam core, SBR non-skid backing
  • Machine wash in cold water at gentle cycle. Tumble dry low, shake to restore fluff
  • Wash separately using mild detergent. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softner
Warning: For use outside of the tub. Always place bath mats on a dry surface before use.

Riflemen Defending a Mountain Pass (Karl Lessing) Bath Mat

This design features a painting by the German artist Karl Friedrich Lessing (1808–1880). It shows a ferocious battle taking place on a high mountain pass. The men are fighting for their lives and to protect their community and families from invaders. They are highly trained riflemen, engaged in a winner-takes-all fight. There also appears to be a female fighter holding a rifle alongside the men. It is a glorious but honest depiction of a scene from military history. The original artwork was painted by Karl Lessing in 1851.
