De Morgan (1839-1917) was an important Arts & Crafts movement artist and was the head of tile production at William Morris's studio. His work was influenced by Persian and Islamic art and featured stylized flora and fauna from both life and fantasy. This fantastic (in more than one way) tile features a blue mommy dragon with her baby.
