Repro Faux Relief Floral on Straw Wreath Majolica Ceramic Tile

The original of this tile dates to around 1900 and is a molded majolica tile by Marsden. Lovely color combination of olive greens with a warm yellow undertone and peacock blue flowers all tied together with a cranberry ribbon that looks like velvet. From Country to Victorian, this is a versatile tile that can be used as a wall tile, backsplash tile, fireplace surround, or shower tile. It also makes a great decorative accent and can be personalized (just add text centered in the wreath under the bow's tails) for gifting or even wedding favors. Note that, although the original this was reproduced from is dimensional, this tile is printed in a trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) style and is flat and smooth.
