Repro c1900 Faux Relief Art Noveau Majolica Floral Ceramic Tile
This is reproduced from an antique tile by Pilkington and dates to 1900-1905. It features a large soft blue flower with a yellow center and rich green foliage. The original is a molded tile but this one is done in the trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) style so, although it looks dimensional, the tile is actually flat.
Art Nouveau tiles are highly collectible and make great wall tiles, backsplashes, trivets, coasters, decorative accessories, and, of course, gifts.
