Renoir Roses in a Vase puzzle. Oil on canvas from 1917. A beautiful flower painting from late in Renoir’s career, Flowers in a Vase depicts a bouquet of red, yellow, white and pink roses in a small blue vase. The roses are in full bloom, heavy to the point of falling over, and weigh themselves down over the rim. Many of the roses have fallen about the base of the vase where they sit romantically in the shadows. A beautiful gift for fans of Renoir, impressionist flower paintings, and French art.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!! a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
